Drillers Game Postponed

Drillers and Travelers to play a doubleheader at 5:00PM Wednesday
April 23, 2013

Tonight's (Tuesday) game between the Tulsa Drillers and the Arkansas Travelers at ONEOK Field has been postponed due to wet and cold conditions.   The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday.

The doubleheader will feature a pair of 7-inning games with the first game starting at 5:00PM.  The stadium gates will open at 4:30PM.

It is the first postponed game at ONEOK Field since August 6, 2011.  The Drillers did not have a home rainout during the 2012 season.

Fans holding tickets for the rained out game may redeem them for similar tickets to any other regular season game at ONEOK Field this year, based on availability.

The promotion for the doubleheader will be Bark-in-the-Park presented by City Vet Hospital, Animal Aid of Tulsa and 94.1 The Sound.  Fans are invited to bring their dogs to enjoy the game from the Primeaux Kia Lawn areas in the outfield.  Dogs must have proof of up-to-date vaccinations and must enter through either the Oil Derrick or Arvest Entrances.

Chad Bettis (0-1, 3.60 ERA) will be the starting pitcher for game one of the doubleheader for the Drillers, while the Travelers will counter with Brandon Hynick (0-0, 0.00 ERA).  In game two, Tulsa is undecided on its starter while Arkansas will send Manny Correa (0-1, 6.43 ERA) to the mound.
