NOTES OF INTEREST
LIGHTING THE SPARK: Since Scott Hennessey took over as the Tulsa Drillers manager on July 24, the Drillers have seemed to hit their stride. The club went 12-5 under Hennessey in his first 17 games in charge, including a season-high, 8-game winning streak.

LOADED FOR THE STRETCH RUN: As the Drillers enter the final 23 stretch of the regular season, they are in great position to make a playoff push as they have 5 of the Top 20 prospects in the LA Dodgers organization on the roster according to MLB.com. The list is headlined by the #3 overall prospect in RHP Yadier Álvarez followed by the #5 prospect in OF Yusniel Díaz, the #6 prospect in RHP Mitchell White, the #12 prospect in RHP Dennis Santana and the #18 prospect in INF Drew Jackson.
OFFENSE CLICKING: Although the Tulsa pitching staff has performed well this season, the Drillers offense has been hitting at a historic rate! Through their first 117 games this year, the Drillers had scored 564 times while clobbering 143 home runs, with the latter mark being the third-most of any team in the minor leagues! They are also on pace to break the Tulsa professional record for home runs in a single season as the 2011 Drillers set the mark with 164 blasts over 140 games.
RECORD AGAINST OPPONENTS:  When playing against the Hooks at ONEOK Field, the Drillers have tallied an even 39-39 overall record. Against the Missions, the Drillers have a 39-38 record at home since 2010, which includes a 2-1 record so far this season.
