NOTES OF INTEREST
DYNAMIC DUO: Through their first 11 games in July, the Drillers have been hitting at their highest clip as a club to the tune of a .300 batting average during the month. Henry Ramos and Matt Beaty have served as the major catalysts for the Tulsa offense as Ramos has batted .594 with 4 HR and 11 RBI over his past ten games while Beaty has hit .447 with 3 HR and 10 RBI over that same span.
POWER SURGE: All year long, the Drillers have been launching the long ball. Tulsa currently leads the Texas League by a wide margin with 109 home runs as a club, 23 ahead of the second-place Corpus Christi Hooks who have 86 total. The Drillers have already hit 21 round-trippers in the month of July after hitting 24 in June and 22 in April. The high-water homer mark for Tulsa was back in May when the Drillers hit 42 homers over just 29 games.
DEFENDING THE HOME TURF: The Drillers have been loving life at home over the past month as they have gone 7-3 against the Naturals, RoughRiders & RockHounds since the start of the second half.
RECORD AGAINST OPPONENT:  When playing against the Travelers at ONEOK Field, the Drillers have tallied a 55-65 overall record since 2010. That includes a 4-4 record against the Travs at home thus far this season as the Drillers took three of four back at the end of April before the Travs flipped the tables and did the same in the middle of May.
