Tulsa to Host Two Bedlam Games in 2014

Bedlam Baseball is not only returning to Tulsa and ONEOK Field in 2014, it is doubling in size! The University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University and the Tulsa Drillers have announced that two games of the three-game Big 12 Bedlam Series will be played in downtown Tulsa's ONEOK Field. It will be the first time that the city of Tulsa has hosted two of the games.

The games are scheduled for consecutive nights on Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17. Starting times both nights are tentatively scheduled for 7:00PM.

In previous seasons, two games have been played in Oklahoma City and one game in Tulsa. For 2014, the format will reverse with a single game being played in Oklahoma City's Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The series opener will be played in Oklahoma City on Thursday, May 15.

"We are thrilled to host two games of the Bedlam Series at ONEOK Field next season," said Drillers General Manager Mike Melega. "We appreciate the confidence the two schools are showing in the city of Tulsa to support a pair of games. Bedlam Weekend will certainly be one of the biggest events on the Tulsa sports calendar in 2014."

Drillers' season ticket holders will soon have the opportunity to pre-purchase tickets for the two games. Details on ticket opportunities for the general public will be released next week.
