Bid Now on Game Worn B Strong Jerseys

Auction ends June 19th at 12 PM; all proceeds go to One Fund Boston
June 12, 2013

On June 12th, the Drive wore the exact same Majestic "Boston" jerseys that the Red Sox did in their first game at Fenway Park, following the tragic events at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Now fans can bid on these game-worn, autographed jerseys.

The auction for all players and coaches jerseys are currently live, and will end at 12 PM on Wednesday, June 19th. Each jersey's starting bid is $200, with all of the proceeds going to the One Fund Boston - the central charitable organization that benefits the families and the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.

Each jersey features "Boston" sewn across the chest, as well as the commemorative "B Strong" patch. The jerseys are also signed on the number on the back by the corresponding player.

The Drive wore these commemorative jerseys following Greenville's "Run for One," a 2.62 mile run/walk through Downtown Greenville that ended at home plate of Fluor Field, the home of the Greenville Drive (Red Sox affiliate) and a replica of Fenway Park. Each Drive player and coach lined up along the 3rd base foul line during the run, congratulating the runners as they finished.
