Delvin Choice Celebration June 9th

"The Voice" contestant to sing National Anthem, throw out ceremonial first pitch
June 5, 2014

It was a travesty when the Upstate's own Delvin Choice just missed the Top 5 on NBC's hit show, "The Voice," so the Drive plan on making that right on Monday, June 9th at Fluor Field.

The 25-year-old graduate of Greenville's Fine Arts Center and Wade Hampton High School, will perform the National Anthem and throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to Monday's game against the Charleston RiverDogs.

Fans will also have the opportunity to meet Delvin for photos and autographs along the concourse of the ballpark, and he'll participate in various in-between inning activities with some lucky fans. There will also be a few special surprises throughout the evening.

Delvin became a fan favorite on "The Voice" with his trademark red hair and "Team Lobster" following. He is a regular performer with the worship brand at NewSpring Church.

Gates to Fluor Field open at 6 PM on Monday.
