July 4th Celebration Game Begins at 6 PM

Fluor Field is a great location to watch City of Greenville fireworks!
June 24, 2013

Following a 7-game road trip, the Drive will return home for a grand Fourth of July Celebration at Fluor Field! The Thursday night game will begin at 6 PM, with gates to the ballpark opening at 5 PM.

Prior to the start of the game, fans will be able to watch a Fluor Field tradition take place, with the 7th Annual Hot Dog Eating Contest, presented by Carolina Pride, which will take place at the base of the TD Bank Family Terrace. Participants qualified for the finale during the previous home stand, with Carolina Pride preliminaries with foods such as marshmallows, ice cream, and pizza!

Fluor Field will remain open after the game, as it provides a great setting to watch the City of Greenville's Fourth of July fireworks, which are shot from County Square. Full concession stands will remain open through the fireworks show.

During the game, the Drive's standard Dollar Drink Night promotion will occur at each of the concession stands. The Dollar Drink Night promotion will end with the final out of the game.

Those fans without a ticket to the July 4th game will still be able to watch the City of Greenville's from Fluor Field, but will not be able to enter the ballpark until the game has concluded.
