The nominees for the month of May are:

Jonathan Aro, RHP: Aro's dominance on the mound was on full display this past month. In 6 apperances totaling 21.1 innings, Aro allowed just one run, good for a 0.42 ERA. He went 1-0 with a pair of saves and only allowed 8 hits and 5 walks while striking out 25.

Jacob Dahlstrand, RHP: Dahlstrand has thrived as a long reliever so far in 2014. During May, he hurled 17.1 innings in 5 games, going 2-1 with a 1.59 ERA. He allowed 16 hits, 3 earned runs and 3 walks while striking out 13.

Kendrick Perkins, OF: In 23 games during the month of May, Perkins was a steady presence in the Drive lineup, hitting .292 with 21 hits, 4 doubles, 2 homers and 9 RBI. 

Jake Romanski, C: Romanski continued to swing a good bat for the Drive this past month, hitting an even .300 with 24 hits in 21 games. He scored 6 runs, smacked 4 doubles and a homer, drove in 15 runs and stole 3 bases.

Teddy Stankiewicz, RHP: In 5 starts on the mound this month, Stankiewicz posted a 1-1 record with a 3.24 ERA. He led the staff with 25.0 innings pitched, and he allowed just 9 earned runs while striking out 20 batters.

Jantzen Witte, 1B: Witte is among the league leaders in numerous offensive categories, and he had a monster month of May at the plate. In 29 games, he hit .388 with 40 hits, 23 runs, 15 doubles, 3 homers, 27 RBI, 18 walks, a .480 on-base percentage and a .660 slugging percentage.
