Registration has been extended for the inaugural Wool E. Bull's Baste Race, a virtual Thanksgiving race featuring a One-Mile Fun Run and 5K, presented by PNC Bank! Two race distances allow for participants of all ages and abilities, while the virtual component means individuals from anywhere are able to participate between November 23-28. Running in the Durham Fall Race Series (Wool E. Bull's Baste Race AND Bull City Race Fest) will guarantee you a choice of one of three Durham Bulls giveaway items! Choose from a mystery bobblehead, a Bulls-branded cool towel, or a Durham Bulls cooler.

Wool E. Bull's Baste Race Information

Participants may select from one of two distances for their virtual race:

  • One Mile Fun Run: For $25, runners receive a race medal, race bib and performance t-shirt, as well as a downloadable finisher's certificate once race results are uploaded. The One Mile Fun Run is the perfect distance for children wishing to participate!
  • 5K Run: For $50, runners will receive a race medal, race bib, performance t-shirt and a ticket voucher good for a 2021 Durham Bulls home game, as well as a downloadable finisher’s certificate once race results are uploaded.

Packet pick-up for local participants will be available at the Ballpark Corner Store beginning on November 16 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Race packets will be shipped to those who select a shipping option starting on November 16.

Bull City Race Fest Information

  • Register for the Bull City Race Fest by Sunday, October 25
  • Run between Sunday, October 18 and Sunday, October 25
  • Registration includes a t-shirt, tank top, and medal that doubles as a bottle opener!

A packet pick-up event will take place on Saturday, November 7, with participants able to snag their swag and support the local Durham community.
