The goal of the Toros Bravos identity is to strongly resonate with Durham’s significant and growing Hispanic and Latino community, combining the City of Durham’s flag color scheme of red, blue and gold with a name associated with not just the Durham Bulls, but the Bull City itself. The primary mark features a twist on the Bulls’ iconic snorting bull, inspired by the sugar skull artwork of Mexico. To pay further homage, the alternate mark depicts the Bull City hand gesture stylized in a similar manner.

El objetivo de identidad de los Toros Bravos es ir de la mano con el significado de la creciente comunidad hispana y latinoamericana en Durham, combinándose con los colores de la ciudad, rojo, azul y dorado, con un nombre que no sólo es asociado con los Durham Bulls, sino con la Ciudad del Toro como tal. La imagen principal representa un giro del icónico toro resoplando, inspirado en la obra de arte mexicana. Para rendir aun más homenaje, la imagen alternativa muestra el gesto de la mano de ‘Bull City’ de una manera similar.
