His 24 runs batted in were also most among all Rays minor league players in July.

The 24-year-old made his Major League debut earlier this season with Tampa Bay on June 24 versus Pittsburgh, and owns a .375 mark (6-16) with one run, one double and two RBI in seven contests with the Rays. Baseball America in their updated prospect rankings this week also tabbed Aranda as the 77th-best overall prospect, in addition to the fourth-best Rays prospect behind pitchers Shane Baz (#15) and Taj Bradley (#16), as well as Mead (#26).

Aranda was originally signed by Tampa Bay as a non-drafted free agent out of Mexico on July 2, 2015.

Following an off day on Monday, the Bulls begin a six-game homestand on Tuesday, August 9 against the IL East Division leading Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, the Triple-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins. First pitch on Tuesday is scheduled for 6:35pm.
