Durham to play Tuesday night in Columbus for national title

The Durham Bulls have done it! After capturing the International League crown on Saturday night with a 6-2 win over the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, the Bulls now advance to the Triple-A National Championship Game! The Durham Bulls have done it! After capturing the International League crown on Saturday night with a 6-2 win over the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, the Bulls now advance to the Triple-A National Championship Game! The one-game, winner-take-all contest will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18, and will pit Durham against the Memphis Redbirds, who captured the Pacific Coast League title.
The contest will be played at Huntington Park, home of the Columbus Clippers. Tuesday's game will be televised nationally on NBC Sports Network, on Buzz Sports Radio in the Triangle market, and streamed live on MiLB.tv.
