Durham Bags Second Straight Win In Toledo, 6-4

Toledo, OH --- Matt Duffy drove in two while Dalton Kelly homered and doubled to lead Durham past Toledo 6-4 on Wednesday night at Fifth Third Field.
Trailing 1-0 in the second, Kelly homered on Tim Adleman's (L, 3-4) first pitch of the inning, then doubled in the fourth to kickstart a three-run inning to put the Bulls (58-39) ahead 6-2.
Duffy hit a third inning sac fly to tie the score 2-2, then singled home the final run of the fourth inning. Kelly, Duffy and Joe McCarthy each had two of Durham's 10 hits.
Sam McWilliams (W, 1-0) earned his first Triple-A win in his second start, working five innings, permitting eight hits, one walk and two runs. Pete Fairbanks made his Tampa Bay organizational debut after being acquired on Saturday from the Texas Rangers. Fairbanks yielded two runs in the sixth on a hit, a walk, two wild pitches and a passed ball.
Cole Sulser threw two scoreless innings, fanning three with Hoby Milner (S, 5) working a perfect ninth to earn his fifth save.
Durham maintained its 2 1/2 game lead over second place Gwinnett, which also won Wednesday night.
The four-game series concludes on Thursday night at 7:05 PM ET.
