July 19, 2016

Rochester, NY --- For the second straight game, the Durham Bulls blew a late lead only to beat the Rochester Red Wings in 10 innings, 7-6 at Frontier Field on Tuesday night.

Dayron Varona singled home Casey Gillaspie with the winning run as the Bulls (44-54) claimed their fourth straight win and remained hot on the heels of first-place Charlotte one game behind in the South.

Durham led 6-1 into the eighth before the Red Wings rallied to tie the game against reliver Steve Geltz. James Beresford singled home two runs ahead of a three-run homer by Jorge Polanco that knotted the game 6-6.
