Rochester, NY --- Nick Solak hit a two-out, two-strike home run in the ninth inning to keep the Durham Bulls road show rolling, winning 1-0 over the Rochester Red Wings on Saturday afternoon.
With the game tied 0-0 in the ninth, Solak drove a two-strike pitch from Austin Adams over the right-centerfield wall for the game's only run.
Durham (21-14) picked up its seventh consecuitve win and its 11th straight road victory.
Ryan Yarbrough (W, 1-0) earned the win by throwing five spotless innings, fanning eight. Andrew Kittredge (S, 2) registered the save by pitching a scoreless ninth inning.
The Bulls pitching staff combined for 16 strikeouts and just two hits permitted to the Red Wings (13-19).
Durham closes out its six-game road trip on Sunday at 1:05 PM ET with Ryan Merritt scheduled to start.
