The Stripers struck first with a two-spot in the second, capped by Albies’ first hit, an RBI single to center. The Bulls would even the contest in the fourth courtesy of 1B Luke Raley’s run-scoring double to left prior to LF Ruben Cardenas’ game-tying RBI single to left.

Gwinnett and Albies would counter, however, with another two-run spurt in the fourth, with Albies recording a go-ahead RBI single. Durham would tie the game once again with two tallies in the eighth, as CF Josh Lowe ripped an RBI double to center before scoring on a sacrifice fly before Albies struck one final blow with his game-winning homer to lead off the last of the ninth.
