Aragon's Early Blast Not Enough

By Tri-City Dust Devils | July 17, 2017 12:42 AM ET

Despite a three-run home run from Bryant Aragon in the second inning the Tri-City Dust Devils (16-15) fell 10-6 on Sunday night to the Boise Hawks. The blast was one of the three hits that Aragon had for Tri-City in the loss.

Despite having a three-run lead on two different occasions, the Dust Devils could not keep up with Boise's offense. The Hawks were able to score nine runs over the last three innings of the game off of Tri-City's bullpen. Reliever Alex Cunningham suffered the loss for the Dust Devils in his debut with the team after allowing three earned runs in the seventh inning. In addition to Aragon's big night at the plate, Robbie Podorsky also produced two hits for Tri-City.

Left-hander Adrian Morejon will start the middle game of the five-game series on Monday night. Boise will counter with right-hander Pearson McMahon.
