Behind thirteen hits the Tri-City Dust Devils (2-1) came away with the 9-4 victory on Saturday night over the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. For the second time in three games, Luis Asuncion delivered three hits for the Dust Devils.
Eight different Tri-City players finished the game with a hit. Asuncion, Justin Lopez, and Boomer White all had multiple hits for the team. Reliever Joe Galindo earned the first win of his professional career. Galidno got the Dust Devils out of a bases loaded jam and proceed to retire all four batters he faced in order.
Right-handed pitcher Henry Henry will start the fourth game of the five-game road series on Sunday. First pitch is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. at Volcanoes Stadium. Left-handed pitcher Alex Bostic will toe the rubber for Salem-Keizer. The team will return to Gesa Stadium on Tuesday, June 20th for the home opener. There will be a postgame fireworks show that night presented by CO-Energy.
