Season Ends for Tri-City

The season for the Tri-City Dust Devils (20-18, 40-36) came to a close on Sunday night in front of 3,489 fans at Gesa Stadium as the team lost 5-0 to the Vancouver Canadians. The win for Spokane over Everett eliminated Dust Devils from the playoff race and secured the final postseason bid for the Indians.

Tri-City was able to earn a spot in the Northwest League record book during the final game of the season. The Dust Devils' pitching staff had 13 strikeouts in the season-ending loss, allowing Tri-City to set the new league record for most strikeouts in a season with 764. The team finished the season with the top ERA in the Northwest League at 3.05.
