Manchester, N.H. - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, in conjunction with the Eastern League of Professional Baseball, have announced an addition to the 2017 Northeast Delta Dental Eastern League All-Star Roster.

The All-Star Game will be hosted at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium on July 12 at 7:05 p.m. The All-Star festivities also feature an Army vs. Celebrity Softball Game and Jordan's Furniture Tempur-Pedic Home Run Derby on July 11.

1B Dominic Ficociello  (fick-ah-chello) of the Erie SeaWolves (Detroit Tigers) has been added to the Western Division All-Star Roster. The former 12th round pick out of Arkansas is batting an even .300 through 79 games with Erie, hitting four homers, 16 doubles, two triples, and stealing 10 bases. Ficociello is off to a hot start in July, batting .353 with a homer in four games. The switch hitter was named a Florida State League All-Star in 2015, and won an MiLB Gold Glove Award later that year. 

Ficociello takes the place of Mike Gerber, the SeaWolves All-Star outfielder who was placed on the disabled list on June 28. Gerber was batting .292 with seven home runs and 30 RBIs through 73 games with Erie. 

Past Eastern League All-Stars include Jon Lester (2005), Hanley Ramirez (2005), Jonathan Papelbon (2005), Matt Garza (2006), Madison Bumgarner (2009), Brandon Crawford (2010), Francisco Lindor (2014), Gary Sanchez (2014-15) and many more. 

The Northeast Delta Dental Eastern League All-Star Classic begins on Tuesday, July 11 at 5 p.m. with the Celebrity vs. Army Softball game. The Jordan's Furniture - Tempur-Pedic Home Run Derby, which gives eight lucky fans the chance to win a Tempur-Pedic mattress valued at $2,800, will begin at 6:30 p.m. First pitch of the Eastern League All-Star Game is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12.
