Two Fresno pitchers held the El Paso Chihuahuas to two hits Friday in the Grizzlies' 5-0 win. It was just the second time the Chihuahuas were shut out this season, both at the hands of the Grizzlies. The two hits tied a season and all-time low for El Paso.

El Paso shortstop Luis Urías and manager Rod Barajas were both ejected after a check swing strike call in the fourth inning, the second and third ejections of the season for the Chihuahuas. Walker Lockett pitched seven innings in the loss, his fourth consecutive start throwing more than six innings.
A.J. Reed hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the first, his 15th career homer versus El Paso. El Paso pitchers held Tyler White 0-for-4, ending his 56-game on-base streak, which dated back to last season. Chihuahuas' reliever Kyle McGrath struck out two in a 1-2-3 bottom of the eighth.
