Clear Purse giveaway and Christmas in July highlight series promotions

EL PASO – July 22, 2021 –The El Paso Chihuahuas return home to take on the Albuquerque Isotopes, the Colorado Rockies affiliate, in a 6-game series beginning Thursday, July 22 through Tuesday, July 27.

The series is highlighted by a Chihuahuas Clear Purse giveaway for the ladies on Friday and Christmas in July with a jersey auction and Fireworks Spectacular on Saturday!

The series kicks off with $2 specials on Thrifty Thursday presented by Speaking Rock Entertainment.

Friday night is Ladies Night as the first 1,000 ladies through the gates with paid admission will receive a Clear Purse. The limit is one per person while supplies last. Ladies' Night will also feature a wine special with $4 single-serve wines on the concourse, $4 glass of wine in the WestStar Club and City Hall Grill, and buy one bottle, get one free in the suites.

'Tis the season in July as we celebrate Christmas in July on Saturday. As part of the celebration, the Chihuahuas will wear Ugly Sweater Christmas jerseys that are currently being auctioned off and will end at the completion of the seventh inning.

The homestand also includes Kids Day Sunday presented by The Hospitals of Providence, the Pepsi Family Pack on Monday, and Taco Tues and Brews presented by Isabella Foods on Tuesday. Tuesday will also feature the Chihuahuas as the El Paso Margaritas presented by Pepsi. In honor of Margarita Night, the Team Shop will offer 10% off all Margaritas merchandise.

Tis the season to be jolly! We are counting down the days until the holiday season with Christmas in July! Come in your ugly sweaters, HO HO HO your way to visit Chico Santa! The Chihuahuas will be wearing special jerseys that will be auctioned off! Jingle your way to the ballpark as this is one game you don't want to miss!

UGLY SWEATER JERSEY AUCTION
It wouldn’t be Christmas in July without ugly Christmas sweaters! The players will be wearing specialty jerseys that look like Ugly Christmas Sweaters! Auction began on Wednesday and will end at the conclusion of the seventh inning!

AUCTION RULES:

• The Chihuahuas jersey auction will begin on Thursday, June 24 and end on Tuesday, June 29 at the conclusion of the 7th inning.
• You do not have to be present to bid or win.
• Fans can text "BID" to join the auction at 844-311-5007.
• Purchase must be made on the platform. No cash or credit will be accepted as payment outside of the bid platform.
• Due to MLB's COVID Protocols, fans will not get to meet the player on the field after the game.
• Jerseys will not be available to take home the night of the auction.
• Chihuahuas staff will let you know when your jersey is ready to be picked up.
• Jersey must be paid in full prior to receiving it.
• Shipping is available for an additional $20 (fans may opt in for shipping when paying).
