Emeralds Will Wear Boba Fett Inspired Jersey On Star Wars Night, July 26

April 28, 2014

The Eugene Emeralds are excited to unveil a one-of-a-kind Star Wars themed jersey its players will wear for Star Wars Night at PK Park on July 26, 2014. The Emeralds have partnered with Lucasfilm to design a jersey in honor of Boba Fett, a bounty hunter who is one of the most popular and iconic Star Wars characters.

Throughout the game there will be Star Wars characters around the ballpark to interact and take pictures with fans of all ages. In previous years characters have included Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Tusken Raiders, Princess Leia, Obi Wan Kenobi, Boba Fett, Chewbacca, Stormtroopers and more. Fans can also enjoy music from the Star Wars soundtrack and short video clips during the game.

Fans can bid and win one of the Boba Fett jerseys worn by the players during the game via a silent auction. Proceeds of the auction will benefit the Children's Miracle Network. This will be the Emeralds fifth annual Star Wars Night and first time featuring a specialty Star Wars-themed jersey.

"The Force is strong with this one and we are thrilled to feature an out-of-this-world Star Wars jersey that is sure to be a must have for all Star Wars fans." said General Manager, Allan Benavides.
