"We are thrilled to have three Emeralds selected to represent the Northwest League in Hillsboro over the All-Star festivities," said Allan Benavides, General Manager of the Eugene Emeralds. "Ademan, Aquino, and Polanco have been integral to our club this season and we cannot wait to see how the team performs over the 2nd half."

Aramis Ademan, the Chicago Cubs' #13 prospect according to MLB.com, is only 18 years old and playing his first season in the United States. The slick fielding shortstop is enjoying a nice stretch over the past few weeks, seeing his average climb up to .276 with a team-leading 4 home runs and 21 runs batted in.

Gustavo Polanco has seen the bulk of the starts at 1st base and Designated Hitter, providing a power bat in the middle of the lineup. Polanco is hitting .289 with 8 doubles and 20 RBI's.

Luis Aquino has emerged as one of the most reliable arms in the Emeralds' bullpen, posting a miniscule 0.48 ERA over 18 2/3 innings pitched, going a perfect 5 for 5 in save opportunities this season
