Ems in the Community

For over 60 years, the Eugene Emeralds have been dedicated to providing the best in family entrainment, and strongly believe in giving back to those in the Emerald Valley. The Emeralds work to be more than just a baseball team, the Ems want to become a strong, active, contributing member of the Eugene and Springfield community. Over the years, the Emeralds have accomplished this in many ways including educational programs, participating in community events and donations to local nonprofits.

Appearances

The Eugene Emeralds are happy to have Sluggo, Front Office Staff and Players appear at community events throughout the year. Sluggo and Staff are available year-round. Emeralds players do not report to Eugene until April and their appearances are limited due to games and other responsibilities.

Requests for appearances should be sent at least one (1) month prior to the event date. To submit a request, please contact Nina-Grace Montes at [email protected] or call (541) 342-5367. Please understand that the Ems cannot fulfill every request we receive.

In-Game Messages

Celebrating a birthday, anniversary or special event at the ballpark? Fans can submit special messages to be shown on the videoboard at PK Park during the game!

To submit their message, fans should stop by the information booth on the concourse prior to the 3rd inning. Fans are asked to make a $10 donation, which will be donated to a local charity. Messages will be displayed on the videoboard in the 5th inning. The Ems staff reserve the right to alter a message due to formatting issues. For more information please email [email protected].
