Oregon Medical Group Orthopedics Steps Up To Support Emeralds

All year, Oregon Medical Group has increased its involvement with community health and wellbeing outreach, and a new sponsorship commitment to the Eugene Emeralds underscores its belief in encouraging a well-rounded, healthy foundation of literacy, exercise and wholesome fun.

OMG is now the official Orthopedic Partner of the Eugene Emeralds. OMG, a locally grown company of more than 100 independent providers, provides primary care and 22 categories of specialty care - including Orthopedics, Podiatry and Sports Medicine. Orthopedic care is provided from a clinic at 600 Country Club Road and ranges from Primary Care Sports Medicine to joint replacement to orthopedic surgery, which includes hands, shoulders, knees and more. Other specialties OMG offers include otolaryngology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, pain management, podiatry, rheumatology, dermatology and neurology.
The Ems sponsorship helps the team and also delivers extra fun. On Friday, June 21 - the first evening of summer - the Ems will take on the Tri-City Dust Devils while fans flashback to the '80s with an '80s Throwback Jerseys for the first 1,000 fans through the home plate gate. OMG sponsors the Kids Dash that happens between the 5th and 6th innings.
OMG is also a title sponsor of the team's reading program, which encourages elementary students to read in order to earn baseball tickets. The reading program included school literacy assemblies, which were held this spring at over 60 elementary schools around the area.
