Annual Event Held Saturday, March 2 at Dell Diamond
February 18, 2013

ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Round Rock Express will host its annual Fan Fest Saturday, March 2 at Dell Diamond from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Fans have the chance to finally see the many off-season stadium upgrades while enjoying a day of family-friendly entertainment the Express is known for. This will be the first time the public can see the brand new HD LED video board, outfield ribbon boards and the placement of the auxiliary board and new premium seating options in person. Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to take batting practice on the field, test their speed pitch, take clubhouse tours, enjoy the "Fun Zone" rock wall and inflatables, see the Mustang Owners Club of Austin car show and the opportunity to taste-test several concession stand items. New highlights to Fan Fest this year are an interactive stadium scavenger hunt, personal baseball card photos and hot air balloons, courtesy of Central Texas Ballooning Association.

The start of Fan Fest marks the start of individual game ticket sales, both in person at Dell Diamond and online at www.RoundRockExpress.com. At the stadium, fans will have the opportunity to select a seat for season ticket packages, including Full Season, Fireworks Plus plan, the Double Play plan and flex plans. With two new premium seating options, fans in attendance will get a first-look at the upgraded seating behind home plate and the 4 Topps along the first base line. Sign up for "Junior Sluggers" memberships, Spike's official fan club, will also take place starting at 10 a.m.

Round Rock kicks off the regular season on Thursday, April 4 with an eight-game home stand that includes four-game series against Omaha (April 4-7) and Iowa (April 8-11). To reserve your ticket plans, including full season, 20-game and flex plans, call the Express ticket office at (512) 255-2255 or visit www.RoundRockExpress.com.
