Express, Dodgers Postponed in Oklahoma City

Wet Grounds Forces Sunday Doubleheader

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma - Mother nature continues to wreak havoc on the Round Rock Express as tonight's game against the Oklahoma City Dodgers at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark has been postponed due to wet grounds after heavy thunderstorms on Saturday afternoon. Tonight marks Round Rock's fifth postponement in the last five days.

The Express and Dodgers will meet in a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 3:35 p.m. Game two will follow approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Both contests will be seven innings in length.

E-Train RHP Nick Martinez (2-0, 3.42) is scheduled to face OKC RHP Wilmer Font (9-6, 3.39) in game one while Round Rock RHP David Ledbetter (2-2, 4.20) is set to take the mound against Oklahoma City RHP Justin Masterson (9-5, 4.17) in game two.

The Express return to a dry Dell Diamond on Saturday, August 19 to open a four-game series against the Omaha Storm Chasers after visiting Oklahoma City and New Orleans.
