COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado - For the third time in as many days, tonight's contest between the Round Rock Express and Colorado Springs Sky Sox has been postponed. Afternoon thunderstorms in Colorado Springs caused unplayable field conditions at Security Service Field.
With Round Rock not scheduled to return to Colorado Springs this season, the game will be made up in Round Rock, if necessary, on a date to be determined during the series between the two teams from August 28-31.
The Express now head to Oklahoma City for a four-game series against the Dodgers. E-Train RHP Anthony Bass (1-2, 4.00) is slated to face OKC RHP Fabio Castillo (4-7, 4.54). First pitch at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in downtown Oklahoma City is set for 7:05 p.m.
The E-Train returns to Dell Diamond on Saturday, August 19 to open a four-game series against the Omaha Storm Chasers after visiting Oklahoma City and New Orleans.
Single game tickets, season memberships, Flex Plans and Kids Club packages are on sale now. For more information on the Express, visit www.RoundRockExpress.com or call (512) 255-2255. Keep up with the Express on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter!
