Express, Sky Sox Postponed in Colorado Springs

Wet Grounds from Afternoon Storms Results in Doubleheader on Wednesday

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado - Tuesday night's contest between the Round Rock Express and Colorado Springs Sky Sox has been postponed due to wet grounds as the result of heavy afternoon thunderstorms at Security Service Field.

The two teams will meet in a doubleheader on Wednesday, August 9. Start time for game one is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. CST. Game two will follow approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Each of the contests will be seven innings in length.

Express RHP Tyler Wagner (3-9, 6.46) is scheduled to face Sky Sox RHP Junior Guerra (1-1, 3.18) in game one. The second contest is set to feature Round Rock RHP Anthony Bass (1-2, 4.00) against Colorado Springs RHP Paolo Espino (4-1, 3.72).

The E-Train returns to Dell Diamond on Saturday, August 19 following a 12-day roadtrip against Colorado Springs, Oklahoma City and New Orleans.
