Hollywood Stars

The Hollywood Stars were members of the Pacific Coast League from 1926-1935 and from 1938-57. The team was a perennial favorite of Hollywood's movie elite.

The Stars were promotional pioneers. For several years in the early 1950s the club's uniforms consisted of shorts and lightweight rayon pullover jerseys. Stars games were first televised in 1939.
