Oakland Oaks

The Oakland Oaks played in the Pacific Coast League from 1903-1955, winning five league titles during that span. 1948 Oaks, managed by Casey Stengel, went 114-74 and won the PCL championship.

Notable Oaks players include Billy Herman, Billy Martin, Joe Gordon, Ernie Lombardi, and Mel Ott.

After the 1955 season the Oaks relocated to Vancouver, BC.
