The Fayetteville Woodpeckers announced today a multi-year partnership with Blue Ridge Power heading into the upcoming 2022 season. The new agreement includes visibility throughout the ballpark for the solar engineering, procurement and construction company, while also promoting the level of dedication to community involvement that fans have come to expect from their hometown baseball team.

Blue Ridge Power has signed on to be the club’s fifth Community Leaders Program Corporate Partner. The program is a part of the Fayetteville Woodpeckers official team charity, The Fayetteville Woodpeckers Foundation. The Community Leaders Program works with corporate partners to make a tangible impact on the Greater Fayetteville community with an emphasis on Youth Sports and Military causes. Since its inception in March 2019, the charity has invested over $150,000 in philanthropic efforts. Blue Ridge Power joins Segra, AEVEX Aerospace, Walsingham Group, Inc. and Blanton’s Air, Plumbing, & Electric in this partnership.

“We’re proud to be a part of the Fayetteville community and are glad to have this opportunity to give back,” said Chris Dunbar, CEO of Blue Ridge Power. “The Woodpeckers have done something really great with the Community Leaders Program and I’m happy that Blue Ridge Power can be a part of it.”

The Woodpeckers open their third season of play against the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers on Tuesday, April 12th at Segra Stadium.
