In his first start on May 8th against the Bowie Baysox, he struck out 10 batters and did not issue a walk while taking a no-hitter into the 6th inning. He gave up just one run on three hits over seven innings to earn his third win of the season.
Drew made his second start on Sunday against the Portland Sea Dogs and did not disappoint. He took a no-hitter into the seventh inning and had retired 19 of the first 20 batters he faced. The lone hit he allowed was a solo home run hit by Portland's Rafael Devers in the seventh inning. He finished the day with seven strikeouts without allowing a walk.
The 23-year old led all Eastern League pitchers in strikeouts (17) last week and tied for the league lead in innings pitched (14.0).
