While a 7-6 win in last year's contest at FirstEnergy Stadium, the Fightin Phils trail the IronPigs, 3-2, in the series.  Numerous future and former Major Leaguers have played in this game, including Rich Thompson, Domonic Brown, Erik Kratz, Kevin Frandsen and Darin Ruf in last year's contest alone.

IronPigs Charities presented by The Air Products Foundation is 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational and recreational opportunities for Lehigh Valley youth. Since inception, the organization has distributed over $550,000 to 77 local organizations. Every dollar raised by ticket proceeds in the 222 Showcase will be donated to IronPigs Charities.

The Fightin Phils will kick off their home schedule on Friday, April 12 at FirstEnergy Stadium when the team takes on the Erie SeaWolves.
