Group Buffet Areas to Relaunch for 2013

(Reading, Pa.)---Through its month-long rebranding process, the Reading Fightin Phils, Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, have announced they have re-imagined its three group buffet areas at FirstEnergy Stadium. For the 2013 season, group leaders will be able to book outings in Reading Eagle Character Pool Party, Fairgrounds Square Mall 67 Club, and Bunbino's Tailgate at the Coors Light Deck. 

"Each group area will be special to a different group of fans," said Director of Group Outings Matt Hoffmaster. "Whether it be families enjoying a summer night at the Character Pool Party, business leaders providing corporate client servicing at the 67 Club, or folks looking for an affordable and fun evening at Bunbino's Tailgate, our group areas will now be suited to appeal to fans of all ages."

Group leaders can currently renew their outings by calling Hoffmaster at 610-375-8469 x.243. Group buffet tickets will open to the general public on Monday, November 12th. 

Each of the three buffet group areas includes a 2 ½ hour all-you-can-eat buffet and picnic table seating. All areas will now feature hamburgers as part of the menu. 

You never know which Reading Fightin Phils character you will meet at the Reading Eagle Character Pool Party. The two-and-a-half hour all-you-can-eat buffet is the ultimate family experience at FirstEnergy Stadium. Take photos and receive autographs with characters like the Crazy Hot Dog Vendor, the Fightin Phils Mascot Band, and many more! 

Every character that performs at a given game will visit the Character Pool Party. New for 2013, the swimming pool itself will also open at gate opening time, extending the time allotted for swimming by another hour for most games. The 87 degree heated pool that makes for the perfect pool outing from April through August. Other features of the area include free Phunland wristbands for all kids 14 and under, picnic table seating, and exclusive locker rooms, making the pavilion one of the most unique family-friendly destinations in Pennsylvania. 

New to the area is a revamped menu ,specifically designed to appeal to families and children, that includes BBQ chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, mac & cheese, corn, pasta and potato salad, chips, smiley fries, fruit, cookies, and Pepsi products. All new graphics will adorn the Reading Eagle Character Pool Party area, solidifying its entertaining appeal to families and youngsters.

The all-you-can-eat picnic area in the best location to take in the baseball action at FirstEnergy Stadium is the Fairgrounds Square Mall '67 Club. All new branding will pay tribute to Reading's long-standing relationship with the Philadelphia Phillies. Each of the 28 tables in the '67 Club will be named after Phillies greats that came through Baseballtown over the team's 46-year history. It is also the prime location for business leaders to treat employees and clients alike. The '67 Club's fantastic location next to third base also puts guests closer to the field than any other group area at America's Classic Ballpark, and is perfect for fans that value the best seating location.

The spread of the 67 Club features BBQ ribs and chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, vegetable lasagna, mac & cheese, corn, pasta and potato salad, tossed salad, fruit, cookies, and Pepsi products.

Bunbino's Tailgate at the Coors Light Deck appeals to both die-hard and casual fans with its summer picnic-like and fun tailgate atmosphere. During your picnic, you may even catch a souvenir as the area is situated directly in prime home run territory behind the left field wall. 

Bunbino's Tailgate All-You-Can-Eat buffet now features Berks County's largest hot dog toppings bar, plus an all new nacho station. The menu includes BBQ chicken, hot dogs (with the aforementioned toppings bar), hamburgers, baked beans, potato salad, tortilla chips (with the previously mentioned nacho station), chips, cookies, and Pepsi products. 

The Reading Fightin Phils and Philadelphia Phillies continue their long-standing affiliation when the team opens up its home season on April 12th against the Erie SeaWolves at FirstEnergy Stadium.
