Pignetti Promoted to Chief Director of Business Development

Pignetti takes on a new leadership role with the Fightins

The Reading Fightin Phils proudly announce the promotion of Anthony Pignetti to Chief Director of Business Development. The title of Chief Director expands a leadership role for Pignetti.

The Reading Fightin Phils organization is headed by General Manager Scott Hunsicker. The Fightins senior leadership team then consists of six Executive Directors; Joe Bialek, Matt Hoffmaster, Kevin Sklenarik, Matt Jackson, Mike Becker, and Mike Robinson. As the new Chief Director of Business Development, Anthony will now assist those senior level Executive Directors, as they lead the Fightin Phils Front Office Staff.

"As the Director of Business Development, Anthony Pignetti has created tremendous partnerships and friendships with his clients, always putting the partner's needs first", said Fightins GM Scott Hunsicker. "He has also mentored many Fightins interns and staff, sharing his knowledge and experience. "Pigs", as he is affectionately known by all, has become a recognizable, and trusted member of the Greater Reading community, and an integral part of the Reading Fightin Phils front office family. Anthony has earned this promotion to Chief Director of Business Development with hard work, and our senior level leadership team is excited to have him take on this expanded role within our organization."

A native of Marlboro, New York, Pignetti graduated from Marlboro Central High School in 2004. He went to college at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA and graduated in 2008. The 2017 season will be his eighth season with the Fightin Phils. He started with the Fightins back in 2010 as an intern.
