Ticket Hootenanny Scheduled for March 15th

Event to feature ticket pick-ups and National Anthem tryouts

On Saturday, March 15th, the Reading Fightin Phils, Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, are inviting fans to come to FirstEnergy Stadium from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for the Third Annual Ticket Hootenanny.

The event is the first time in 2014 that season ticket holders and mini plan holders will be able to pick up their plans for the upcoming season, along with their complimentary season ticket holder gift. Fans will also be able to purchase single game and group tickets at the Fightin Phils Ticket Office. 

Group ticket and season ticket representatives will be on hand to answer questions, provide tours of the group areas, and book outings for the 2014 season. 

National Anthem tryouts for the 2014 season will also be held during the day's festivities. One performer during the afternoon will be selected to perform the National Anthem at the 222 Showcase on Tuesday, April 1st. Registration for the auditions will begin at 12:00 p.m. 

Fans will also be able to enjoy free Berks Packing hot dogs, Pepsi products, and coffee at the Plaza Favorites stand in Tompkins VIST Bank Plaza.   

The Fightin Phils will kick off the 2014 season on Thursday, April 3rd at 7:05 p.m. at FirstEnergy Stadium when the team takes on the Portland Sea Dogs. Savage 61 Fightins VIP Club plans, group tickets, and single game tickets for 2014 can be purchased online at Fightins.com, by phone at 610-370-BALL, or by visiting the FirstEnergy Stadium Ticket Office.
