MANCHESTER, N.H. - With Opening Day on the way, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats have unveiled the jam-packed schedule of ferocious fun and entertainment coming to the newly renovated Northeast Delta Dental Stadium this season.
Single-game tickets for every regular season game are on sale now. Fans can get tickets at nhfishercats.com, over the phone at (603) 641-2005 or at the Fisher Cats Box Office at One Line Drive in Manchester.
"Unveiling this schedule is one of our favorite parts of the year, because it means baseball season is right around the corner," said Fisher Cats President Mike Ramshaw. "From our stadium renovations to our theme nights, giveaways and everything in between, we can't wait to open the gates for 2017 and share these unforgettable experiences with our fans."
Highlights include 17 giveaways, 32 Atlas Fireworks shows, and live music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night from the stadium's brand new stage on the renovated plaza.
The season begins with a magnet schedule giveaway on April 6, when fans will have the first chance to experience the ballpark's new tiki bar, plaza and tiered seating pavilion. Opening Weekend features Atlas Fireworks on April 7-8, and the Sunday afternoon tradition continues with Kids Run the Bases after the game on April 9.
The Fisher Cats will host a whopping 17 specialty giveaway nights in 2017. The first 1,000 fans in attendance can score three different hats (April 26, May 17 and June 21), an All-Star Pennant (May 22), Beach Towel (June 25), '603' Replica Jersey (July 16), Ryan "Schimpf on the Barbie" bobblehead (July 24), team autographed baseball (July 26), Vintage Fisher Cats bobblehead (August 1), Wizard Scarf T-Shirt (August 6), and much more.
Star Wars Night (June 10) will feature R2-D2 jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game. Fans can meet Wally the Green Monster when the Portland Sea Dogs (Double-A Red Sox) come to town on July 13. The Fisher Cats will host the future Red Sox 11 times in 2017, including May 22-25, July 13-16 and July 24-26.
New Hampshire's most popular community-themed nights will return to the ballpark in 2017 as well. Play Ball for CHaD Night (May 5) will donate 50% of the proceeds of individual tickets to the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, and the Fisher Cats will wear limited edition super hero jerseys. The Second Annual Community Games (May 23) will give local non-profits the chance to compete on field and raise funds for $1,000.
