Manchester, N.H. - Ryan Borucki worked seven scoreless innings and Jonathan Davis knocked in both runs as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats blanked Hartford 2-0 on Saturday at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.
Borucki (2-3) allowed three hits in seven innings, did not walk a batter, striking out seven in earning the win for the Fisher Cats (54-77). Dusty Isaacs and Andrew Case completed the shutout with Case recording his eighth save. Gunnar Heidt led off the bottom of the third inning with a triple, scoring on a sacrifice fly by Davis.
Heidt's second hit, an infield single, started the bottom of the eighth. After a sacrifice bunt, Davis doubled and Heidt scored to make it 2-0. Jack Wynkoop (5-10) took the loss, despite a complete game effort for the Yard Goats (59-72).

He did not issue a walk and struck out three. With the win, the Fisher Cats have claimed the first Plymouth Rock Assurance Cup awarded to the winner of the season series between the two New England rivals.
