KISSIMMEE, Fla. (May 10, 2017) - The Atlanta Braves have announced the following roster moves that affect the Florida Fire Frogs roster:Summary: Luiz Gohara , LHP, transferred from Florida to Mississippi. Andres Santiago , RHP, transferred from Rome to Florida.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (May 10, 2017) - The Atlanta Braves have announced the following roster moves that affect the Florida Fire Frogs roster:
Summary:

Gohara, 20, went 3-1 in his time with Florida during 2017. The native of Tupa, Brazil start on Opening Night against Daytona, tossing five shutout innings and picking up seven strikeouts along the way.
The left-hander set a season-high with nine punchouts in the loss to the Tortugas on May 9, and struck out a total of 39 batters in just 36.1 innings of work. The 6'3" hurler never allowed more than two runs to cross the plate in any of his starts, and had a run support of +12.
During his five-year career, Gohara has a record of 15-20 with an ERA of 4.03 (108er/241ip), and 267 strikeouts against 106 walks.
Santiago, 27, returns to the Fire Frogs after appearing in two games with the Rome Braves (A-). The right-hander has combined to go 0-2 with a 3.60 ERA (6er/15ip) in six appearances at the Low and High-A levels.
The 10th-year professional struck out 15 batters in just 8.2 innings this season with the Fire Frogs, including four in each of his first three turns out of the bullpen. The native of Puerto Rico has an 0-2 record with a 6.23 era (6er/8.2ip) in four relief appearances with Florida in 2017.
Florida's roster remains at 26 players with13 pitchers, 12 position players, and one MLB rehab assignment.
Florida looks to take its second consecutive rubber match on Wednesday morning at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. LHP Drew Harrington (3-2, 2.16) takes the mound for the Fire Frog against the Tortugas' RHP Jesús Reyes (3-0, 2.61) First pitch is set for 10:30 a.m., with coverage starting at 10:15 a.m. on the Florida Fire Frogs Broadcasting Network.
The Florida Fire Frogs return to Osceola County Stadium on Monday, May 15 to take on the Tampa Yankees. The first game of the four-game series is Margarita Monday in Kissimmee, where fans can enjoy $3 margaritas and $2 empanadas. The series opener will also be Service Industry Night, where members of the service industry can purchase tickets at the gate for a discounted rate.
