Photo Credit: John WestKISSIMMEE, FL: RHP Jasseel De La Cruz tossed the first no-hitter in Fire Frogs history on Saturday night at Osceola County Stadium in a 12-0 triumph over the Jupiter Hammerheads.

It took the 21-year-old just 89 pitches to achieve the historic feat. He faced 29 batters, two over the minimum, allowed two walks, and added four strikeouts.
This was the fourth shutout of the season for the Fire Frogs, their third at the Pond.
Florida pounded out a season-high 18 hits to back their starter's nearly perfect performance.
The scoring started in the third.
A four-run fourth followed.
The seventh inning saw Ramos and Josephina drive in Contreras and
Josephina kept chugging with another RBI knock in the eighth. Estrada also plated Jenista with a fly ball to the outfield to finish the scoring.
