TAMPA, FL: The Tampa Tarpons hit four home runs on their way to snapping a seven-game slide in a 9-2 triumph against the Florida Fire Frogs on Monday night at Steinbrenner Field.
The Tarpons grabbed a couple tallies early.
Tampa put the game away in the seventh by scoring three times, highlighted by an
Kingham (2-2) surrendered seven hits and five earned runs with two walks and a team-best 11 strikeouts over seven frames.
The Fire Frogs scratched a pair of runs across in the top of the eighth.
Contreras went 2-3 with a walk.
Garcia slammed his second long ball of the night and Carrizales singled in
