Homestand Preview: July 17th - 20th
The Squirrels return to The Diamond after the All-Star Break for a four-game series against Harrisburg from July 17th through the 20th. The Western Division showdown will take place over a unique Richmond Braves weekend, featuring giveaways, fireworks and a special throwback jersey auction.
Thursday, July 17th vs. Harrisburg
Gates Open: 6:00 PM First Pitch: 7:05 PM
Richmond returns to The Diamond with a bang! National Pig Day might have Parker anxious, but not to worry, he'll be safely found at home plate, being kissed by the Smooch-A-Pig campaign winner! Enjoy bacon on your favorite concession item for only $1! The next installment of the Thursday Night Fireworks Series, presented by Your Local Ford Dealers, will take place postgame. It's also Rotary Night at the ballpark, and a pregame musical performance from Entropy on the HCA Entertainment Zone Stage will entertain fans between the opening of the gates and the first pitch. There will be a special appearance from James Madison University Alumni Akeem Jordan who currently plays with the Washington Redskins!
Friday, July 18th vs. Harrisburg
Gates Open: 6:00 PM First Pitch: 7:05 pm
It's Girl Scout Night at The Diamond! Scouts in attendance will have the opportunity to participate in a pregame parade around the field as well as a sleepover on the field after the game. Also, the first 2,000 fans 15 and older will receive a Chipper Jones Bobblehead, presented by the Richmond Times-Dispatch. The Squirrels will be wearing Richmond Braves jerseys, to be auctioned off throughout the entire weekend. Kids Run the Bases, presented by McDonald's and Richmond Family Magazine will take place after the game. The Hit List will be found on the HCA Entertainment Zone stage for a pregame performance as well. Saturday, July 19th vs. Harrisburg
Gates Open: 4:30 PM First Pitch: 6:05 PM
Richmond Braves Weekend continues with Turn Back the Clock 80's Night, presented by Miller Lite, which will feature $1 specials on hot dogs, small fountain drinks and tubs of popcorn. The Richmond Braves Jersey Auction will continue throughout the game, with the final bids being taken on Sunday. MT & The D's will perform pregame on the HCA Entertainment Zone Stage, and postgame activities will include Kids Run the Bases, presented by McDonald's and Richmond Family Magazine, and FIREWORKS! Sunday concludes the Richmond Braves Jersey Auction, with proceeds benefitting the Atlanta Braves Foundation. Catch on the Field will take place from 12:45 PM to 1:05 PM, and the first 2,000 fans 14 and under will receive a Braves & Squirrels Baseball presented by Coke Zero! Kids Run the Bases, presented by McDonald's and Richmond Family Magazine, will take place postgame. Raizin Caine will entertain fans with pregame musical stylings on the HCA Entertainment Zone Stage.
