RVA - The Richmond Flying Squirrels opening contest to the final series of the season against the Bowie Baysox was postponed on Friday night due to inclement weather. The contest will be made up at a to be determined time. Fans with tickets to Friday's game can redeem them in-person at the Flying Squirrels Box Office for future dates (some restrictions apply). Saturday's contest is still on for the scheduled start of 6:05 p.m. The Flying Squirrels final three days of the season include back-to-back In-Your-Face Fireworks shows presented by Food Lion. Additionally, The Flying Squirrels, along with VCU and other community partners, will be hosting a Hurricane relief drive on Saturday at The Diamond between 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Full details for the event can be found here.
The eighth season of Flying Squirrels baseball will conclude on Labor Day with a 12:05 p.m. start. Tickets for the remainder of the season as well as season ticket information for the 2018 season can be found at www.squirrelsbaseball.com
