The Flying Squirrels are on their way back from their third road trip of the year, and are ready for more baseball at The Diamond -- are you!? The team and staff have been working tirelessly to prepare for another FUNN-packed homestand for the best fans in Minor League Baseball. We have a lot of exciting events and giveaways coming up this week, which includes another Free Shirt Friday and a special edition of Tip of the Cap Tuesday presented by CBS 6. Come on down to The Diamond and cheer on your Squirrels!

Friday May 19th

The first 1,000 fans 15 and older to The Diamond this Friday will get a free Nutzy and Nutasha T-shirt presented by Coca-Cola. We will also be hosting our annual Boy Scout Night at the park; Scouts and their troops will have the opportunity to camp out on the field after the game and of course who could forget Happy Hour every Friday from 6-8 PM with $1.95 beverages. This will be our first game of a seven-game homestand so let's welcome home the Squirrels with a sellout at The Diamond! Gates will open at 6 PM for a 7:05 PM start. Kids can run the bases following the game. TICKETS

Saturday May 20th

Join us for Hispanic Heritage Night, as we celebrate the extremely rich culture that has had an immense impact on the game of baseball. Kick off your Saturday night with baseball at the Diamond and then stick around for In-Your-Face-Fireworks presented by Markel. We're excited to welcome the 2016-2017 NCAA Men's Basketball Player of the Year Frank Mason to The Diamond on Saturday! The Petersburg native will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the game.Gates will open at 5:00 PM for a 6:05 PM first pitch. Kids run the bases following the game. TICKETS

Sunday May 21st

Name a more iconic duo than Baseball and Brunch…I'll wait. Wake up Sunday morning and make your way to the Diamond for some delicious brunch items throughout the concession stands. We will also be giving out a special Nutzy Head Rally Hat to the first 1,000 fans 14 and younger presented by Kings Dominion. Gates open at 11 AM for the first pitch at 12:05 PM. Kids can play catch on the field from 11:15-11:35 AM presented by Nesquik and run the bases following the game. TICKETS

Monday May 22nd

Pooches of all shapes, breeds, sizes and colors love to play catch…so do we! Bring your fluffy friend to the ballpark on Monday night for our fourth Bark in the Park of the season. The first 250 dogs and their owners will receive a Frisbee Rope Toy presented by VCA Animal Hospital. Gates open at 5:30 PM for the 6:35 PM first pitch. TICKETS

Tuesday May 23rd

Tuesday's at The Diamond mean one thing --Tip of the Cap Tuesday! The first 1,000 fans 15 & older will receive a special edition Newsboy hat presented by our friends at CBS 6. We will also be hosting a Senior Social for those who are still feeling young at heart. Gates open at 5:30 PM for a 6:35 PM first pitch. TICKETS

Wednesday 24th

It's Hump Day! Come over to The Diamond for Wine Up Wednesday, and enjoy our wide variety of wines. Wine Happy Hour is from 5:30-7:30 PM. Gates will open at 5:30 PM for a 6:35 PM first pitch. TICKETS

Thursday 25th

Let's send the Squirrels off with a bang as they wrap up the homestand against the Rumble Ponies! There will be a special mid-week In-Your-Face-Fireworks show following the game presented by Steak n' Shake. We will also be celebrating our EMS, and First Responders for keeping us safe throughout the season. Gates will open at 5:30 PM for a 6:35 PM first pitch. TICKETS
