Tigertown to Host FCSAA State Baseball Tournament May 10-14

Some of the best baseball players in the state of Florida will be in Lakeland May 10-14 as Tigertown hosts the 2013 Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) State Tournament.    
The tournament begins at Joker Marchant Stadium on Friday, May 10 at 10:00 a.m. as St. John's River (38-16) takes on Palm Beach State (34-18), last season's state runner-up. The action continues at 1:00 p.m. when Tallahassee Community College (45-8), currently the #1 ranked team in the country takes on Hillsborough Community College (23-26-1). At 4:00 p.m. State College of Florida (41-11), the #2 ranked team in the state, battles Seminole (34-12). The last game on day one has Miami Dade (35-8), currently ranked #3 in the state, taking on Chipola (35-19) at 7:00 p.m. 

Tickets to the FCSAA tournament will be available as follows:  
·  Tournament Pass - $25  
·  Daily Pass - $10 ($9 for children 6-14)  
·  Championship Game Ticket Only - $5  
·  Children 5 and under are free  
·  Parking is free  

The winner of the tournament will advance to the National Junior College Activities Association (JUCO) 56thAnnual World Series to be held in Grand Junction, Colorado at Suplizio Field May 25-June 1.
