TigerTown to Host Polk County High School All-Star Game
The best high school baseball players in Polk County will show off their skills at Joker Marchant Stadium on Tuesday, May 14 at 6:00 p.m. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 and student tickets are $5. Joker Marchant Stadium is home to Detroit Tigers Spring Training and the Lakeland Flying Tigers of the Florida State League.
The game is sponsored by the Detroit Tigers Foundation of Florida and 100% of the gate proceeds will be divided evenly between the participating high school baseball programs. There will also be a game jersey auction and proceeds from each jersey sale will be distributed to that player's high school baseball program. The game features a matchup between the East Polk County All-Stars and the West Polk County All-Stars. Rosters are below.
