TinCaps Complete Sweep, Win Fifth Straight
FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The TinCaps extended their season-long win streak to five games with Sunday afternoon's 3-1 win at Parkview Field over the South Bend Cubs (Chicago Cubs). The win completed a three-game sweep over the Cubs in front of 7,012 fans.

Sunday wrapped up a week-long homestand for Fort Wayne. The 'Caps won six of the seven games against West Michigan and South Bend. The weekend series sweep of the Cubs was the TinCaps' second sweep of the season.
Fort Wayne will now leave town for an eight-game road trip before returning to Parkview Field for a three-game series against Bowling Green starting May 28.
