Team Ghost Riders Visit Nymeo Field for Two Nights

FREDERICK, MD-The Frederick Keys play a week-long homestand to close out the first half of the 2018 season. Playing three doubleheaders and a total of 10 games in seven days, promotional highlights include two appearances by Team Ghostriders and the Cowboy Monkey Rodeo as well as Father's Day and Buy your Dad a Beer Day. The weekend kicks off with a doubleheader on Friday night against the Down East Wood Ducks. Gates open at 4 p.m and first pitch is scheduled for 5. Both games will be seven innings, while it marks the first of two straight nights of the Cowboy Monkey Rodeo. A show that has received national attention appearing on platforms such as Monday Night football, the Cowboy Monkey Rodeo features monkeys dressed like cowboys riding dogs as though they were horses while herding goats.


Team Ghostriders will do a pair of teasers during the second game of the doubleheader before doing a complete show after the twinbill concludes. There will also be fireworks presented by Premiere Dental Arts.


Night two of the Cowboy Monkey rodeo is on Saturday when the Keys and Wood Ducks meet at 6 p.m. After the game there will be more fireworks sponsored by Precision Heating and Cooling.


The first half concludes on Sunday at 2 p.m with Father's Day. It is also National Buy Your Dad a Beer Day sponsored by Flying Dog Brewery. Fans who plan to come to a game with their dad can purchase a special package by calling the Keys Groups Office at 301-815-9900.
